Our first concert of the year kicked off with David Huff, formerly David and The Gaints. David ministered to a packed house with praise and worship that celebrated Christ in a powerful way. When David picks up his guitar he is like a man from another world, with a mighty anointing that filled the altar with souls wanting more of God. I would highly recommend any Pastor desiring to reach people to invite David to your church for a concert that you will not soon forget.
Micheal graciously blessed our church with his smooth style of singing as only Micheal can. His testimony of Gods grace and mercy was moving to many hearts as he told how God restored him from a broken life, even after many years of ministry. He truly is a prodical son that has returned to his Fathers house.
Beaten and abandoned by his alcoholic father, young Mac Gober grew up with an unholy appetite for violence and brutality. His stormy teen years introduced him early to the world of street justice. At 18, Mac finally escaped his misable family life by joining the Navy and landed in the hell of Vietnam's steaming jungles. After the war, tormented by horrifying memories, he vented his blistering rage by trashing his Navy uniform and roaring off on his Harley into a renegade lifesytleof crime and drugs. But then he an electrifying encounter with another dying man. This one was hanging on a cross, right between Man ans his final hell. And this One loved Mac Gober--- just the way he was.
Jan Painter from Louisville, KY. Jan has a ministry unlike any other. It is amazing how God uses her to bring a fresh word from heaven with a song. She doesn't claim to be a preacher or a teacher, but one whom God uses mightily to impart the anointing. What a time we had with Jason Crabb, not only did he do a great job singing, but he preached a powerful message for the Sunday morning service. The people in our church are still talking about the concert. I also want to say as a pastor, Jason truly demonstrates the heart of a servant, not just an entertainer.
